Land Usage Ordinance - This is the Town of Clayton's Unified Development Code which is fully searchable and helps guide all development.

Clayton General Design Guidelines (2006) - These guidelines were prepared in conjunction with the Town’s Unified Development Code (UDC) and are intended to clarify the visual aspects of the built environment as it relates to residential and economic development objectives in a way that is sensitive to the areas scale and character.

Strategic Growth Plan - This is Town of Clayton's Strategic Growth Plan which was updated in June of 2008.

Small Area Plan Map - Small Area Plan Text - The Town of Clayton has adopted a Small Area Plan to guide quality development in the area of Highway 42 west. Developers and owners of property along this corridor should review this plan for guidance.

Comprehensive Bicycle Plan - The Town of Clayton created a Comprehensive Bicycle Plan in 2006 to guide the implementation of bicycle facilities in the Town. The vision includings providing its citizens with safe, convenient, and more complete bicycle travel facilities within the community.
