Some items and artifacts from the local history collection

Mantlepiece from the Hocutt's home, dating to the early 1900s, which allegedly depicts Crow Indians. Located in the Local History Room

Portraits of the library's namesakes, Dr. Battle and Lucile Hocutt. Hocutt donated the land she received as dowry to the library and asked that her family name, Ellington, be added to the library's name.
