For those answers and many more, tune in to TCTV (Town of Clayton Television ) cable channel 11 for "BACKSTAGE: Horne Square," an entertaining behind-the-scenes look at downtown's new jewel and how it came to be. The 30-minute program stars Mayor Jody McLeod and Town Manager Steve Biggs, as well as Designer Ashley Grady, Historian Pam Baumgartner and several local residents--including a fascinating segment with two of the town's most prominent residents, Sybil Champion and Ramona Cash, reminiscing about the mansion and its final days.
The program is the latest installment of "BACKSTAGE: Clayton," which gives residents a behind-the-scenes look at their town from a perspective they don't generally get to have. The show was filmed at the Square and the Hocutt-Ellington Memorial Library downtown where a wealth of information on the town's history is available every day.
